SB20 World Championship 2015 in Torbole – Lake Garda

The  Laser SB20 World Championship 2015 has been awarded to Circolo Vela Torbole, on Lake Garda

Since the beginnings of SB20’s history the Italian fleet has always proved very strong. Torbole has already guested
the World Championship in 2010, which was a great 5 days festival success with 107 boats and two different starting lines, always featuring the typical Lake Garda breeze.

The whole fleet is looking forward to this event in July 2015.

“As new Chairman of the Italian Class I’m very happy about the awarding of the 2015 Championship to Torbole“,
says Gian Matteo Paulin, President of the Italian SB20 Association, “The schedule of the Italian Circuit for 2014 foresees two stops
on northern Garda side which will prove key to become familiar with the boat race field in Torbole and to confront ourselves again with International fleets“.

“Torbole is a wonderful location in the summer“, explained Ed Russo, President of the SB20 World Council,
“the club is very qualified  and world level renewed because of the high-end Championships they manage to carry out every time“.
